Are you looking for a little side gig to support your lake life? Look no further! We are looking for a part time cleaner!
This summer we are hiring a cleaner for Mondays in July and August to help us keep the shower house, rental cabin, concession and main stores in tip top shape.
We would also consider applications for an early morning baker for Saturdays. We are looking for someone to make baked goods for sale at the main store for 9 am. Muffins, cinnamon buns, breads etc. What is your specialty? Give us a proposal to consider!
Main Store Staff
The main duties include:
• Being a friendly and welcoming face at the entrance to the park
• Operating the till and completing cash out procedures
• Checking in and out campers as they arrive and depart
• Providing general guidance to campers including directions, rules, policies and bylaws
• Checking in golfers and providing general information regarding our golf course
• Selling packaged foodstuffs, clothing, camping supplies, gas, fire wood etc. to patrons
• Maintaining inventory, cleaning and organizing store
• Cleaning the rental cabin between rentals
• General labor (including cleaning of store, washrooms, and flower maintenance)
• Participating in event planning activities such as crafts, activities, and recreation
• taking out the garbage and recycling, sorting recycling
• Other tasks as assigned by the park manager
Friendly, Reliable, Cash handling, Customer service, drivers licence
The park is located near Shell Lake and Iroquois Lake, accommodation is not included.
Salary Range: $15-$17/hour, Full and Part Time Available, Seasonal Work
Restaurant Staff
Main duties include:
• Food preparation including basic cooking, frying and ice cream scooping
• Operating the till and completing cash out procedures
• Participation in Event hosting and customer service
• Supply inventory, ordering and food packaging
• General labor (including cleaning of store, store exterior, patio, garden, equipment and utensils)
• Requires SK food safe course, taken at your own expense. Upcoming course dates here. A list of approved food safe courses can be found here.
• Other tasks as assigned by the park manager
The park is located near Shell Lake and Iroquois Lake, accommodation is not included.
Salary Range: $15-$17/hour, Full and Part Time Available, Seasonal Work
Maintenance Staff
Main duties include:
• Monitoring and maintaining all equipment, and vehicles including maintenance logs for vehicles, equipment and fuel
• Providing Park Manager with supply and work order requests
• Operate a push and a ride on mowers throughout the Park including golf course
• Maintaining and testing park water supply (three wells)
• Hauling equipment and supplies for rentals and events
• Attend to garbage removal throughout the Park
• Attend to the day-to-day maintenance requirements of Park buildings, roads, grounds and general property. This includes cleaning, basic construction, pruning brush, cutting trees, painting etc.• Cleaning outhouses, showers, bathrooms
• Cleaning campsites
• Cleaning Rental Cabin between rentals
• Maintaining Flower pots and gardens
• Bring a friendly and helpful face to park visitors, answering questions about park policies and happenings and enforcing park regulations
Salary Range: $15-$24/hour , Full and Part Time Available, Seasonal Work
